This bookstore has an excellent selection of books, including a terrific children's section;it is easy to navigate and the displays are thoughtful and well done. I liked that there was a mix of the expected and the unexpected in titles as well as a fun assortment of cards and other small treats to purchase. If you are a true bibliophile,... More

Much better than a sticky sweet ice cream cone! This is a great independent bookstore with an interesting inventory, lots of good suggestions, loads of useful local books, and a real commitment to quality in their community. I could spend hours here

Also, they have a great selection of kids books and activities and some sweet stuffed animals too. A smattering of jigsaw puzzles, a few art supplies. A... More

They have a small children's section, but not too many infant books. I have a 9 mon old and have never really found anything worth buying for him. But my... More

I found this book store to have the Best Books In the west. Not only do they have some of the best childrens books I have ever found but I have attended some terrific childrens musical events and author signings here. The owners are super friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. They even serve you up an awesome cup of home... More

We vacation in the Methow Valley each fall. We make a point at stopping at this fabulous bookstore each time. Their small store on the main street in Winthrop is crammed full of wonderful books. They have a small section for each of the genres, with a nice section of local authors. There are lots of cards throughout the store... More
