Their wines are fantastic. Though they are known for their whites I think their Cabernet is one of the best affordable US Cabs out there. The grounds are amazing and the whole place looks like a European castle. The tours are very fun and informative and the tastings are great. They also have a very fun concert program each fall... We signed up for a private tour of the winemaking facilities although they run them regularly throughout the day at no charge (we had 15 people). Marla our tour guide knew a ton about the history of the winery and the current operations, super interesting tour. We also paid for wine tasting at the end of the tour, I think... More

Want to attend a great concert with adults only while having a sip of wine? This is THE place to do that in the Northwest. In winter they host small local bands indoors and in the summer you can not beat the outdoor grassy fields on location where they really book some fun groups! Best of all ~ you MUST... More

Having toured this winery 30 years ago, I was impressed to be just as awed as I was then! Jean, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable, personable, and introduced new facts about wine production that we experts, lol, didn't know! It was such a wonderful experience, it was FREE, and well worth the trip! Go to Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery!... More

The buildings and grounds are impecable. You might be confused and think you have somehow been teleported to the French countryside. One of the more beautiful such properties you'll likely visit...and the wine is superb. The facility also hosts an outdoor Summer Concert Series. By the way, we live above the valley and within 10 minutes of this property.

Woodinville has many chances to "taste" Washington wines but Chateau St. Michelle is an actual winery experience with tours and tastings. The grounds are lovely, employees extremely friendly, flexible, and helpful, and the wine is quite good to boot. The gift store area is well stocked and there are several tasting bars, so no one had to wait or struggle... More

I absolutely cannot believe that I got to go to this incredible winery. We were introduced to Ste. Michelle wines on a cruise to Alaska and have now been fans for 10 years. I was overwhelmed with the many wines we did not know existed. Great tastings! Wonderful staff to answer all our questions and introduce us to new wines!... More

Tour the winery. Very efficient tour with guide that gives you better knowledge of how your favorite wine is made and bottled. Excellent tatsting upon finishing the short tour and a wonderful shop to do purchasing at good prices. Very friendly employees.

2nd visit, on this occasion we went to a concert featuring Frankl Valli which was being held in the grounds. 10 dollars for wine tasting and a tour of the Winery makes a value for money. A good selections of wines available for purchase at competitive prices. What lets the place down is lack of food and place to eat... More
