The lilacs are long finished but the hydrangeas are beautiful along with many other summer blooming flowers. There is a bloomerang Lilac in the back garden that is blooming today, too.

The best time to visit this lovely garden is around Mother's Day, but it is a nice, relaxing place to walk through at any time. Visitors enjoy both the plants and the history. If you like flowers, don't miss this.

I unfortunately missed the mass blooming season when I visited, but the grounds were manicured nonetheless, and despite the fact that most of the lilacs had already bloomed, I very much enjoyed all of the beautiful plants, trees, shrubs, and scenery. This is a National Historic Site and a must see. I would recommend visiting during lilac blooming season.

This place has an unusually short season so traveler beware. Call ahead. We read about these gardens and drove a few hours to see the blooms only to find out we missed the show. For the lilacs that is....... The house was open and a knowledgeable docent was in attendance. We enjoyed the house the period pieces and family history.... More

The Hulda Klager Lilac Garden is a lovely diversion and shows what can be done with a Western Washington garden. The aromas and sights are very relaxing.
