I didn't really know what to expect, but thought there might be craftsmen there. We missed those and wandered around looking at handcrafts that were WAY out of our price range.

This is a wonderful place to take a break, look at variety of crafts, watch artisans at work (such as glass blowing) or have a meal or an ice cream treat.

Had a layover in Beckley on her way back from OBX. Decided to check this out before heading home. Worth the stop. Spend a few hours browsing the great hand made items and artwork from local W. Virginia artisans. Definitely recommend to anyone passing through.

I have seen such an article before; I do not know if that would be currently sold at Tamarack, but you could Google and find it easily.

I'm not sure about tamarack but there is a travel center right beside it, which has ample parking. I assume they allow overnight parking.
