This is another statue I remember from my childhood. The green color is due to acid rain over time I believe. It was originally copper I think. Anyway it's just a statue and it's cool to see but I wouldn't recommend anyone go out of their way because there's not really an attraction. Just the statue. It would be cool if you're a history buff or already in the area. …

This was a nice photo stop but it's just a statue without much else to do nearby.swing by,take a picture or two and enjoy one of the area's other attractions.

There was a B&B across the street called the Iron Horse Inn. It was sold and it became a Chinese Buffet. That closed and now it's a bar. Worked with a guy who SWORE he was related to the man on the Iron Horse. HOWEVER, never took the time to confirm. We'll just let the story fade into history.…
