We really enjoyed the stunning views at this look out. They also have a trail to see the bridge closer. They have exhibits inside to learn more about local history and wildlife.

The visitor center was closed when I visited, but the walkway to the overlook was still open. The view was beautiful and the walkway and stairs appeared to be recently rebuilt and very nice.

Visitor center had friendly staff, a small bookstore and a museum with information about the area. Watch the short movie on the New River Gorge and enjoy a great view of the New River from the patio and big picture window.

They have the best views of the gorge & bridge. Trails & stairways to get better views are exceptional. Rangers were extremely helpful in planning our trip. They told us all the spots to see & they were right on the money.
