Located beside the Confederate Cemetery, there’s a stone plaque above the door that said it was built 1797. Perfect background for the tombstones in photos .

We wish the church would have been open or even the store operated by the ladies of the church. Although there was some signs about the history, it could have gone into more detail.

The Old Stone Church cemetery is undergoing restoration, but is still completely accessible. We were able to locate grave sites from several of our ancestors. There is a card catalog in church lobby that lists details on all of the graves.
