We were so glad we decided to take this self-guided tour. Although I had a knee injection a month ago and debated doing the tour, other reviews convinced me to do it. The hand rails were very helpful. You can do it at your own...More

It's not a Man cave or a Woman Cave - It's a People cave. Plenty of steps and walkways so be careful. The Bat is an only child so have no worries here. The gift shop is tremendous an exploration in itself. Great day trip...More

There are many caverns to choose from around this area . The best part about this one is that they allow you to take your own tour at your own pace . The man handed us a small flashlight and sent us on our way...More

My first suggestion, Check Groupon! This is how I found the Lost World Caverns and I am glad I did. Although the drive to it is on a dirty road so I wudn't suggest you be a speed demon to get there. LOL I actually...More

Be prepared for a difficult walk through the cave. There are not many formations and the ones there look "dirty" - not sure whether it is algae or minerals seeping in from above. There are more huge rocks laying around than there are stalactites/stalagmites. Only...More

This is a great place. The young man who runs it is super friendly and really appreciated our business This is a tough walk. My elderly parents could not do it. And I would definitely recommend tennis shoes for every one. Lots of uneven walking...More

We had a groupon to this cavern and it was a little out of our way but i'm so glad we did it. It is a self guided tour unless you're going on the spelunking tour and we absolutely loved it. It is fantastic to...More

We traveled through the caverns on the self-guided tour. Very interesting formations all the way through. You can travel at your own pace, and take all of the time you wish to move forward. I would not recommend this tour, however, to anyone who has...More

I would have to agree with all the recommendations NOT to bring your dog into the caverns. It was very slippery and she could easily hurt herself.

The tour would be fine for a 5 year old with supervision. We take several kindergarten classes on a regular basis for school field trips every year and they all walk the entire tour with no problem.
