I was the only person in the tasting room when I stopped in, and I had a great conversation with the guy behind the counter, who was very knowledgeable about the winery and the area. Nice variety of wines and liquors, though not all estate grown. All their estate wines seemed to be hybrids or fruit wines, which is reasonable... More

Great local WV winery with a broad selection of local grown or produced wines in many styles. The owners have a terrific sense of what decent wine should taste like and avoid selling something subpar just because they made it. FoC also has a distillery which makes some of the tastiest moonshine ever. This is not your grandpa's white lightning... More

Love having a local winery in my backyard! The people are friendly and knowledgeable about the products. The wine tastings are fun with Ryan and Bob behind the tasting bar! Two of my favorite wines are the Airmail Jones and the Sangiovese. They have a wide variety of other local products as well but the wine is where it's at!... More

Great experience. Tasted wines. Bought a bottle and drank it on their deck with our friends. So relaxing. Loved it!

A couple years ago we were looking for something to do while visiting the area with friends. We Found Cheats of Fork Winery, dis some tasting (free), bought some wine (a mixed case) and have returned 2-3 times a year to replenish our favorite wines. We enjoy the view (it is way out there but well marked), the wine and... More

Nice place, really enjoyed sampling the wine. Not a big fan of wine, so someone please explain to me why we left with a box full for home. You'll enjoy this place.

This was a last minute decision to stop in and visit, so glad we did! A nice variety of wines and the owner would let you taste what you wanted. We met Irene and Oscar, 2 kitties that live at the winery. Adorable! I bought 3 bottles and 2 wine glasses and took some very scenic pictures. Definitely worth a... More

A beautiful quaint setting in the rolling hills just outside of Morgantown, WV. We stopped on our way to Deep Creek Lake, MD, on a Friday afternoon. No other patrons there at the time, but the lady working there was very pleasant and welcoming. They make their own wine, rum, whisky and moonshine. Straight up, Peach and Apple Pie were... More

We were traveling back to Pittsburgh after an exciting WVU Mountaineers Football win over the Missouri Tigers. We decided what the heck google wineries near by. This one came up and we decided to stop and check it out. We tried dry whites, reds, and some semi-sweet wine. The Cab is always my favorite go to but it was alright.... More
