It's not a very big museum, and to be honest I wasn't really sure what to expect. It was definitely neat to look at everything, but be prepared to read a lot of newspaper articles. Took me and my mom about 45 minutes to walk through the entire museum. Thought the souvenirs were a bit on the pricey side. Good... More

I learned additional information regarding this moth man issue. I wasn't aware of the tie in to the silver bridge collapse or the men in black.

The museum is small yet full of information about the Moth man and its apparitions. There are clippings that recounts the history of the events. There are also several artifacts from the sites as well as several videos rolling with information.

We were passing through the area and saw the signs for Point Pleasant... We had to stop and I am so glad we did! It's small but, if you are interested in the Mothman, it is a great experience.

Enjoyed the very affordable museum exhibits on the mothman sightings, video documentary, hollywood props from inspired movie, and testimony paper displays. However, a large section is just the testimony papers, interesting if you want to read a lot. The artistic renderings are nice. You could review the museum in about 20 minutes if you don't read as much. Don't miss... More

My daughter did a finger painting and made a large black butterfly in the midst of her beautiful scenic mountain landscape. Jokingly, I asked if that was Mothman. Instantly, my kids wanted to know what and who the Mothman was. I had no idea there was a museum dedicated to this legend and when I found out after googling 'The... More

I absolutely loved my visit to the Mothman Museum. It is fairly small, but it has lots of newspaper clippings, props from the Mothman Prophecies movie, parts of the collapsed silver bridge, and even a couple of life sized recreations of the monster, plus every other piece of mothman memorabilia imaginable. There are two artifacts here featured on Travel Channel's... More

Really neat info and cool environment. Gift shop has a bunch of t-shirts but no cool statues of the Mothman.

The museum is packed full of stuff from the "mothman sightings" and also includes a lot of memorabilia from the Mothman Prophecies movie. There is also a nice little gift shop included.
