Such a peaceful area, you feel on top of the world, quiet is bliss. Nothing fancy, if you're outdoorsy, you'll enjoy. The trees have grown a lot since my last visit and now, obscure the views from the tower. Be sure to walk the trail...More

Long drive to get to the top, but beautiful all around when you get there. The trees are taking over the views from the tower, so follow the path around to see some pretty views from all directions. Nice place to sit and have a...More

First time I've been up here in about 20 years. If you come back in from the east the road is paved. You can drive back down the other side about 5 miles if you want to see the lakes. The view at the top...More

One can drive safely all the way to the top. The road is well paved though the last section is narrow. Not much to do once you get to the top except climb up an observation tower. We reached there when the clouds rolled in...More

Great roads to drive to top, in great condition. Easy walk on gravel to tower, great views. Trails as well, picnic areas, rest rooms. Saw deer on drive up.

From the drive to the views this was a must see destination on your visit to West Virginia. I loved the drive to the top up the narrow windy road. Views you have to see for yourself.

We actually were on a weekend trip to skyline drive, decided to drive over this way while we were there and I was not disappointed! I thought it was absolutely gorgeous! I love going to the mountains and have explored most of the Pennsylvania mountains...More

The twisty drive is a bit narrow at points (it seemed to be about 7 or so miles), but it is well worth it when you get to the top. You can see views from your car as your near the parking area. However, at...More
