After touring Harpers Ferry we traveled to our next destination. Along the way we found the great inn to stop at and have some drinks. Nice friendly atmosphere.

Wonderful. Great garden area. When you enter you walk down a short hallway to a vintage bar. We ordered drinks and walked down a hallway through a dining room to open up onto this garden area, so perfect. We had a nice time to talk...More

By far, the coolest outside seating place in Shepherdstown! Not much of a menu for food; however, the shrimp were delicious. Nice alcohol selection. We visited this place every evening! Sitting outside to meet new locals was a highlight! Highly recommend!!!

Came here in search of a fun bar while visiting town. Staff was courteous and fast to take our drink order at the bar. The locals seemed friendly making the experience even more enjoyable. Ambience is great, too! Stop by for a drink.

I believe this is a favorite place for the locals. It is also a good place to get a late night hamburger and a beer. Give the place a try and enjoy the place.

It's funny how one reviewers interpretation is so very different from the next. The reviewer below points out that there isn't table service because the "focus should be on the bar & drinks".....really??? You have to focus so much on pouring a draft that you...More

The Meck, as it's known to us locals, is the living room of our town. The staff is friendly, the drinks poured with love. What I love about this place more than anything is the lack of "crap". There isn't a frilly drink menu or...More
