I love this state park. The lake itself offers many activities. The high bluffs surrounding the lake offer a beautiful and dramatic scenery. There are wonderful hiking trails. Lots of opportunities for camping, picnics, hiking, swimming, etc. A place I have visited many times. Especially...More

If you're up for a bike around the area or a hike or leisurely walk, this is where you want to be. A guided tour for first timers is a HUGE plus. Lots of information to go along with the beauty. Rock climbers like it....More

Great place for parties, camping, hiking and kayaking! Cheap rates for camp site and if needing extra food or supplies a Walmart is down the road! Always come twice a year for the adventures!

Because this is such a beautiful place it is very popular, so can be somewhat crowded. The trails require a fair amount of climbing, some of it a bit difficult, but all accessible to the average person. The views are great, and not the usual...More

We started off with the board walk by the lake, then did a little bit of easy hiking until we could see the lake from a lookout, and were glad that we decided to give ourselves a challenge by going back the next day and...More

I don't think my grandson ever thought that he would be climbing and hiking to the top of the bluffs that look over Devil's Lake when he went on a monthly Boy Scout camping trip to Devil's Lake, but he did. Weather-wise, it ended up...More

Very nice small lake, we took advantage of it's size to teach a couple our friends about scuba diving. Check out the 3 Little Devils Dive shop which is near by in Baraboo.

We followed the Wisconsin color peak site when we planned our hiking trip. The site said color was 100%. It wasn't, a lot of green on the bluffs! Very disappointed about the colors! Still gave it 5 stars because it's still a beautiful place!!

If you don't have a national park lifetime pass, which sad to say, only recently went up in price, then you would have to purchase a daily pass. The daily pass does give you in and out privileges for the 24 hour period, if... More

I would suggest parking in south lot, climbing up East bluff and hiking to North Shore of lake. Enjoy concessions or a kayak rental on North Shore of lake, then walk back along railroad tracks on the East shore of the lake... More

There is an entrance fee for the park, but there is no additional fee for bringing your own kayak.
