Our third visit did not disappoint. Food superb, staff brilliant and to top it all some very lively musical entertainment. The views are breathtaking.

We were here in mid-July on our multi-day trek on the Alta Via 1, and I couldn’t have been more giddy with the surroundings: forests bursting with blooming rhododendron, alpine tundra that rolled with greenery and wildflowers, limestone rock jutting out of clear, burbling streams,...More

The scenery was good, after a steep walk up from Pereru. The flowers were out in June. There were lodges available to eat or stay in. Several trails or paths to choose from.

Beautiful day and not too busy. If you have young children, there is a lot for them to do at the top. There is also a new museum, which I didn't go inside.
