If you have not been to Irvine Park recently, you are missing out. I remember the variety of Zoo type animals; but I was really surprised by the newly updated buildings and facilities. A great experience by all family members.

There is so much to do here for families. Lots of play equipment, splash pad, walking trails and animals to view. In the winter they have a gorgeous display of lights and is worth the drive through.

Great place to take children for the lights. All the props are wonderful and easy to walk around with the kids and show them all the props and talk about them.

Only drove thru it but looked amazing. Great for picnics and families. It was a huge park. Had a zoo beside everything you expect in a town park and more

Great zoo for walking; the animals are mostly inside during the winter, but the bison and elk can be viewed by driving or walking the road the go around the periphery of the zoo. Enjoyed the frozen waterfall on the back side of the zoo-...More

The park and zoo are always being updated. There are hiking trails, 4 playgrounds, exotic animals, birds and a petting zoo, tennis courts, a volleyball pit and several large and small picnic areas. We also enjoy the scenic views.

Awesome Christmas lights! Horse drawn wagon ride is the best! I’d never seen the lights and to take the ride was so fun. You can walk or drive through as well. Either is fun, too!

Yes the park is open and you can have dogs as long as they are on a leash and you clean up after them. They don't allow them in the animal buildings as it may upset the animals.
