Used google maps and trip advisor map but location eluded me! All signs are for Pinocchio park and none for this place. So I drove back to Lucca. Needs signposting, or accurate location on maps...

Great park to stroll around. Plenty of shade and not too packed with tourists. Butterfly house is also very fun.

This is a great tonic, after visiting the Pinocchio park. Breathtaking gardens. The majestic stairway is the centre piece , which includes grottoes. The inviting stairs lead up to a statue of fame and a chain of waterfalls. Pathways tempt you to enter different areas...More

The gardens are generally very run down with the exception of the front entry area which appears to be the only part being looked after. The water feature was very overgrown and was not working. The butterfly house was at best reasonable with a few...More

We were impressed with the gardens when we visited about 10 years ago but they seem to have suffered from a lack of money being spent on their upkeep since then. The ground-level parts are nice and the view up the cascade is impressive but...More

The garzoni gardens in collodi are an absolute must see if you enjoy gardens of discovery. There is a butterfly house which is included and houses the most beautiful butterfly we have ever seen ( even better than Stratford upon Avon). The gardens look much...More

Villa Garzoni Garden is excellent! One of the best gardens in the whole Italy, probably on par with Villa d’Este. Lots of flowers, trees, butterlies and not crowded at all. They also have a maze and a small grotto. Ideal for 1-2 hours.

This place is magical. We were really captivated by the beauty. Butterfly house was amazing too, just be aware of the high temperature and very high humidity. Me as an MS and asthma patient, could not spend inside more than 10 minutes.

After the visit to the Pinocchio park we went to the Villa Garzoni Garden which is just next door. We found the garden nice for a one hour visit, nice walk up the well ornamented garden and waterfall areas. The butterfly house is also quite...More

This is a bit Disneyfied- at least the small town of Collodi is- but the garden is relatively intact. All somewhat Rococo and Baroque due to its C17 date but famous nontheless and well interpreted in the introductory exhibit. Best to avoid busy holidays and...More
