My girlfriend and I drove up from Maine and went skating, I have not skated in over 30years but this was still AMAZING and I skated for 3 1/2hours! I loved it, it is beautiful and MAGICAL! Dress warm, bring quarters to feed the animals

We read about this place in a NY Times travel article & planned our whole vacation around it. Amazing experience! We fed the animals for about a half hour & then spent another 2 hours just winding in and out of the trails. The ice was in good shape when we were there bc it was well below freezing. There was a Zamboni working, which was fun to follow on the fresh ice. We went on a weekday around noon & it was not crowded at all, but the paths are narrow so I wouldn’t recommend going during peak hours. Overall a wonderful family outing we will always remember!

Interesting skating through forested trails. excellent ice early in the day, they use a Zamboni machine to groom the trails. good rental options. becomes very crowded on weekends. OK snack food on site. Petting zoo areas for young kids.

This place is seriously magical. We went here with our 8- and 5-year old on a Tuesday - and in a snowstorm! It was a little hard to skate when the snow built up, but the plow was clearing the trails the whole time, so there were always places to go without much snow. Skating through the forest, trees, snow, ice and animals had us all giddy. It was so, so, much fun. And we got to end with hot chocolate and poutine in the snack shack. GO HERE - YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

Great outdoor family activity for people of all ages. The trails cover a vast area and there are animals along the way to entertain the kids when they need to rest a bit from skating. You can have a meal on site or bring your lunch. There is plenty of convenient spaces inside where you can change and put your skates on.
