A venue for vinifera, the Captain's Walk Winery offers premium grape wine tasting in a light-hearted manner. Partake in a laid back experience that usurps the snobbery out of wine while enjoying a unique tasting education. This pre-civil war house has been updated carefully to recapture 150 years of character. Plaster crown molding, the original fireplace and hardwood floors complement openings that offer viewing of the production room and cellars.

Hi There, I'm sorry that we did not exceed your expectations, and I apologize if you had to wait for service. Regarding the "natural" feel, we wanted to be part of downtown Green Bay and love historic buildings. Revitalizing this location was the best means...More

This was a great wine tasting experience. The merchant was knowledgable and helpful. We walked away with some new favorite wines and a great new gadget for uncorking.

What a delightful setting for a winery in a very old, beautifully and tastefully renovated house downtown. When you enter the wine bar, you can actually see wine barrels aging in the cellar through a large glass-covered hole in the floor Our wine tasting host...More

Housed in a pre-civil war villa with a rooftop widow's walk (now more cheerily dubbed as Captain's Walk), and lookout tower facing Green Bay, this winery has a lot of charm. The wine tasting bar was over 100 years old. The tour offers a short...More

We enjoyed visiting this winery. Interesting tasting wines..like the nasty gorl. Cool inside. A must stop. Good pours and knowledgeable staff. We will be back. After all we only left with a case

It was okay and the staff was certainly friendly enough but my husband and I have been to several wineries and either the teasing was free or with the purchase of a keepsake wine glass. We were a little disappointed after spending $94 that they...More
