Had a awesome evening at a very special event held at HookStone Winery in Hayward, Wi. It was a Girls Night Out special event and the staff was spectacular, they have a great selection of wine and that night they did have some appetizers that were so awesome and all the ladies had the best time. They have a nice selection of wines with Northwoods names, for example, Muskie merlot and Walleye blush. You can do a wine tasting and keep the glasses. The glasses are nice and will have your guests talking. If you like wine, great place to stop while shopping in Hayward or on a rainy day

Love this place! For $8 you can sample each one of their wines, and keep their glass! SWEET DEAL! It's a fun time & informational. Take a group of Gals, and enjoy a day in Hayward!

We stopped in during a rainy day on the lake. The staff was extremely welcoming and offered tastes of the wines we were interested in purchasing. We left with two bottles of their White Sangria which was the perfect wine for a summer vacation.

Stopped here the Friday before July 4th. When we got there, it was pretty empty. No one greeted us so we asked about wine tasting. They have tasting for $7; you taste 8 wines and get to keep your glass which is very reasonable. While we were there it became very busy and they didn't seem prepared for the rush.... More

The wine was average. The staff was not prepared for the Memorial Weekend with a lot more people in town. We had to wait a long time between tasting so they could check people out. Should have been more prepared.

We always leave with a couple bottles wine. For $7 you can do wine tasting and it was so fun! We went a slow weekend and the girl working was so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend stopping in for great wine.

Stopped at this winery in April to do the wine tasting which cost $7 a person. It started out to be a quiet afternoon but by the time we left there were many of the tables filled. We had the best time when Rick, the owner, joined us for our tasting. We laughed, conversed and joked with him so much... More
