I am a sucker for all things wildlife, so couldn't pass this up as we were driving by. First of all, it was a rainy day in the height of tourist season so I won't hold the hordes of screaming toddlers running around against the place. It is a tourist trap and I guess the rain brought in all the... More

Fantastic opportunity for children to get close to and learn about animals. This was the third grandson I have taken to Wilderness Walk and all three left with smiles and later conversations about what they saw and did there. Considering the smiles and memories made the price of admission is a value.

We planned a trip to Hayward to take in the fishing hall of fame and thought going to the Wilderness Walk would be a fun attractions. But paying $24 dollars for two seniors? Not going bother going in.

We really enjoyed our adventure at Wilderness walk. It's perfect for young children, a great opportunity for them to learn about animals. I went to WW as a child and they have added so many animals. My daughter loved the petting zoo and the roaming deer 😊

We stopped at the Wilderness Walk on our way to the cabin last summer. The kids loved it and we spent several hours there. The only gripe that I have is that it's overpriced. The cost of admission is similar to the zoo's in large cities...but with much less content.

Love hanging out here for the day and feeding the animals. Panning for gold is kind of cool to. Maybe they could add a lion or two.

Have been here several times over the years. It is always a fun day for a family with kids. They take care of the grounds and animals and it is kept up very nice. Lots of fun things to see and do.

This place is always fun - so fun to feed the animals and you get up close encounters with them. The western town is fun to explore as well.
