We stopped into the Kenosha Public Museum during the Farmers Market this morning. What a nice, manageable space for families with small children. The lower level had a walkthrough that focused on Native Americans from the region. There was also a wooly mammoth skeleton on...More

I like museums, but not enough to want to spend the whole day in one. The ones in Chicago can be overwhelming. This place is small enough to go through in an hour or two, and still hold your interest. Some very cool exhibits, well...More

Very much enjoyed walking through the Kenosha Public Museum and learned a lot about Wooly mammoths, bones, rocks, art, etc. Donation of $5 is recommended. Well worth it! Employees were very friendly!

Thank you for spending time with us! We do have a special program for preschoolers on Wednesday mornings called, "Museum Munchkins", which teaches children about animals through songs, games and hands-on activities. Please visit us again when our exhibits reopen for the summer!

An interesting portrayal of the history of the Native American tribes in the area, describing how they lived in much more detail than is usually displayed. The displays are interesting and well done. The museum itself is a lovely building, but the display is not...More

Do you love dinosaurs? How about wolves? A variety of wolves! I can't believe this museum is by donation only. I would pay a standard fee for this for sure! There is a kid-friendly activities area when you enter. So inviting and fun!!!
