Displays were nice, but not worth bringing young children here. There is one small digging area in the basement for children, but its the size of a sandbox. I would recommend the museum having some dinosaur displays that are not just bones for the younger kids.

The love of all things dinosaurs will find its match at the phenomenal dinosaur Museum. So much age appropriate things to look at, touch and learn from. Wonderful way for the whole family to enjoy the day and learn exciting new things.

This building was a former Post Office - beautiful building from the turn of the century. Dinosaurs from around the world with easy to read descriptions

It is a great little museum for children. The big dinosaur in the museum catches children by surprise. They should open up fossil digs for children and not just school trips. They might also want to add more exibits.

We heard about the Dinosaur Discovery Museum, when we were being given a ride on the streetcars and the pilot/operator told us how good the Dinosaur Discovery Museum was for kids. So, when we came to the streetcar stop, we got off and headed to the museum. In front, are the dinosaur statues which always make for good photos with... More

We visited the Kenosha Dinosaur Discovery Museum on a Friday afternoon. It was a beautiful building and we were welcomed by a really neat statue of a Dilophosaurus standing outside of it. The admission was free with a “suggested” donation of three dollars which we paid before looking over some of the fossils featured in the same foyer. For those... More

great local place to take the kids or to meander with a friend. Interesting place. Jump on the trolley afterwards for a trip around town.
