I was looking to do the big 29km hike,

I reserved 2 tent spots 20$ each + fees for acess on the trail.

Sadly, the temperature on that weekend shift pretty bad. Around 80mm of rain + a polar vortex from arctic droping the temps for 15 to 20°C..
We had no choice to cancel. They dont refund us the tents plateforme (i can understand that, even if no body will hike this weekends anyway) but the ask me another 15$ for cancel!!
Such a jerk moove.

So overall, i paid 75$ for that weekend and they send me back 13$... lol

Cost me 62$ for nothing and they dont care because 'its their politic".

If you plan to go hike there, dont reserve in advense because they will be happy to RIP your money!

We stayed in a Pods for 4ppl. Plenty . y of space, one electrique heater and a foyer, cooking tools, a toaster and a kettle & a sink. They also provide with 10l water per night. There is a clothesline to dry your day clothes from snowshoeing or countryskiing. They are located 0.9km from the visitor center/parking. You can use a free sleigh to take your stuff to the Pods. Beautiful trails ...A new centre is under construction that will be 300m from the Pods with bathrooms with hot showers ( now they are at the entrance centre), kitchen and a large meeting/playing/dining room.

This is a pretty area, but we didn´t stay long because there were so many small flies that just seemed attack whenever we sat down or stood still. If you got to bike or maybe just to hike in constant motion, it might be all right. Perhaps we just came at a bad time for bugs.

This was fantastic. We really enjoyed the obstacle course, Bedeaun sites on the river and the staff at the office. This was a great night.

It was our first experience in a yurt and we loved it! We spent 2 nights there on the Easter weekend. Similar to huts (no running water or indoor bathrooms) but much more spacious. A small plastic dome on the roof allows for more daylight. The yurt was impeccable. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. A woodstove, plenty of wood (though sometimes damp making it hard to start), comfy matresses on the two bunks. They deliver a jug of potable water. There is even a small propane stove and oven which is great if you don't want to start a fire and heat up the place. Located about 2.5 to 3 km from the info center. We used snowshoes to reach the yurt and carried our stuff in sleds which they provide. The surrounding area is great. X-country ski trails run right in front of the yurt and there is plenty of hiking (of all levels and distances) as you step outside. If you want to shower during your stay, the info center is open 24 hours a day. The installations are super clean. Free showers. This area is a bit off the beaten path (from Quebec City calculate about 1h30 depending on the weather and road conditions). However if you are sick of places with hoards of tourists, this park is a place to consider. It's such a great place to just kick back and enjoy the quiet of nature.
