The view at Grandad Bluff is expansive. It was a much shorter hike than we expected, but it was still a good stretch on a long road trip. On a good fall day you can hear the college band rehearsing -- at least we did,...More

This park is a must stop when in LaCrosse. You can see the city from above as well as Minnesota. There are nice viewing areas. Make sure to dress warm during the cooler months.

Drove up here to kill some time. The view of lacrosse is awesome. Would give it 5 stars but just over the fence at the end of the cliff is full or garbage. People are pigs.

The journey to Grandad's Bluff is a twice a year trek for me each year. I like to go in spring when the leaves are just coming on the trees and plants and then, of course, in the fall. The updated lookout is a major...More

The view is gorgeous! You can see the whole city and beyond. The drive up is also very pretty. We came when it was raining, but it was worth going.

You'll drive to the top and there's a concrete sidewalk that leads to both the shelter and the overlook. In fact, it's handicapped accessible

It is accessible by car. There is a parking lot and a short, easy walk to the overlook. There are also trails from there for those who want to explore further.
