The view is one of the best LaCrosse has to offer. The changing seasons make several trips worth it throughout the year. If visiting or living in LaCrosse it is a must

The weather was not conducive to walking but this park is a real gem. Can walk quite a distance along the river and it is beautiful.

We stopped by and took a drive through the park. The views of the river were great. The weather was very cold so we did not walk around much but we would have loved to spend time there in warmer weather.

Lacrosse has done a wonderful job of creating an enchanting walkway right next to the mighty Mississippi river. There is a beautiful garden next to the Information Center that was very enjoyable.

The riverside park is lovely for just walking along the river or sitting on a bench to watch Ole Man River roll by. But the place can also be very vibrant and exciting with LaCrosse has an event there. It's worth a visit.

An absolutely beautiful walk along the Mississippi River. We were there on a very hot humid day and the breeze off the river made it a wonderful stroll. A must do in La Crosse

As I recall, I did see a dog being walked on a leash on the sidewalk. I don't actually know the rules but I'm sure they would have to be kept on the sidewalk as not to soil the area where people sit and children play... More
