Get this straight: The city is Lake Geneva, the lake is Geneva Lake. Hop aboard a classic yacht for a cruise around the second deepest lake in Wisconsin (135 feet deep and 21 miles around) which is the focal point of a popular resort area also known as "the Newport of the West."

Lake Geneva has nothing really new for repeat visitors. Rented a boat for a couple hours and explored the lake. This was amazing and well worth the $$$. Some amazing properties to view and appeared to be a better value than the jet skis. The...More

Lake Geneva is a very comfortable place to relax and get away from the big city life. Friendly people, nice facilities, and clean air. We have been there in all four seasons and it is worth the trip any time of the year.

For us lake Geneva is just a couple hours away, but talk about seeing how the other side live! The mail boat tour was a great way to really get some history of the lake and some of the best views of the beautiful estates...More

The view of the lake was stunning. Unfortunately for us a storm quickly rolled in so we didn't get to enjoy any activities which included pretty much Ny water activity/sport you can think of.

Lake Geneva is the best body of water within a 3 hour drive from Chicago. The water is clean and clear, though never gets very warm. Great for boating, swimming and a day trip with the family. Lots of shopping as well as wonderful choices...More

This might be the cleanest lake I have ever seen. Even at the water's edge in near the downtown, one can clearly see the bottom of the lake.

I would suggest taking the boat trip, preferably the mail boat one at 10:00 am. They have jumpers that jump off the boat, run up to shore to grab the mail and get outgoing mail, run back down the dock to jump back on the...More

Many activities here: large excursion boats for touring both the lake and mansions built in nineteenth century, motor boating, sail boating, kayak and canoeing, nice beach, boat docks, very family oriented, and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

I agree with all of the above. I haven't seen a private event at the beach, but I have seen weddings in Library Park.

Is there still the more "luxurious" boat tour with air conditioning in the summer and the delicious lunch? If so, when is it available and what is the cost?
