It was nice to have the marsh trails to ourselves in the snow and cold. Just be sure to wear warm boots if you go in winter. The trails were easy to see even with all the snow, and the hike was quite scenic!

Beautiful marsh and birds. Being from South Louisiana it's like being home with cold weather. The mix of fall color with the marsh is really cool. Great place to drive or hike and kid friendly.

Took the pontoon boat tour and did some hiking, and touring of the Horicon March information building. Learned a lot about an area not to far from us. Enjoyed the beautiful fall day.

25 years ago we visited the marsh on a sunny October Sunday. All we remember from that trip is a lot of slow traffic and people pulled off the highway trying to park. This year we returned mid-week and thoroughly enjoyed the day. We stopped...More

Horicon Marsh -- with 33,000 acres of wetland -- is reportedly the largest freshwater marsh in the continental U.S.).
