This is a small, roadside natural formation that is pretty cool to experience. Was there in early spring and there were still ice "curtains" formed a!ong the sides of this natural bowl formation. We also took a look at a very extensive maple extracting setup across the road.

This was a nice find. The rock formation is cool. The area is not really taken care of so wear your hiking shoes. The weeping wall was very cool. The area small. The steps seemed sturdy.

The beauty of your surroundings once you go down the stairs (or take a more off-the-beaten-path trail) to the floor of the punchbowl is incredible. You feel so small as you look up at all the beautiful greens and trees, enjoying the water slowly trickling along the bottom. Looking up at the rocks you see all these amazing colors in... More

Devils Punchbowl 410th Street, Menomonie, WI Devil's Punchbowl Ghosts, fairies, little men and trolls have been reported to haunt this beautiful natural site in northern Wisconsin. People who joke about the trolls while in the Punchbowl have returned to their vehicles to have them not start for unknown reasons. Bring a shiny stone or some skittles to appease the trolls.... We regularly visit Devil's Punchbowl and have taken many visitors there. It is especially pretty in the fall. It presents a unique nature experience. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because the access can be difficult for any physically-challenged person. It can also be wet and slippery at times. Definitely worth a visit.

Devil's Punchbowl is a must see destination in Menomonie, WI. While it is a little off the beaten path, you will be glad you tool the time. While there are quite a number of steps down into the formation, it is a stunning natural wonder. I have visited in Summer, Autumn, and Winter, and each season reveals something new.

The parking lot is a few dirt spots near a stone wall. The walk is short, The stairs are not completely even. The sound inside the natural amphitheater is absolutely fantastic!!!! Don't walk around too much as the ground is mushy and IS A SCIENTIFIC AREA. With that said - it was WELL WORTH the side trip off the highway.... More

A cool area to check out on your way through Menomonie, not a repeat visit kind of place but a cool natural area. I recommend swinging through and checking it out when you visit Menomonie.
