This hidden spot boasts four season fun. In the summer, the native plants and Prairie, the Shaded forests and Park shelter are great. Because of all the trees, the Fall colors are spectacular. In Winter, the trails are groomed and there are challenging Hills and...More

My 24 year old son and I took a quick 1 night trip from Minneapolis to Menomonie, Wisconsin. It is only an hour and 15 minutes away, and it seems like a different world. We took the approximately 1 mike hike to the observation tower...More

Challenging ski trails in the winter, but to be honest it is a little “ski elite”. Dogs and snowshoes are not welcome. Even if you visit in the summer the large “no dogs” sign is a little off. Hilly challenging hiking, good spot for fall...More

This is a great place to hike, especially if you want a workout; it's hilly & there's a tower you can climb. I've done it a number of times and haven't been disappointed. I've snowshoed there as well.

We did a hike in Hoffman Hills in the morning on a Saturday hoping to beat any weekend crowd. We were pleasantly surprised that this place probably doesn't get that crowded as it is quite expansive and the trails are abnormally wide. Mostly grass covered...More

This beautiful area is a gem in Dunn County. You can walk several trails and if your ambitious, climb to the top of the tower for the best view around. Take your camera - especially in the fall. It is a great place to get...More

We've visited Hoffman Hills many times and have always enjoyed hiking the many trails. They have a network of easy to hard trails a person can take. Some of the "hard" trails may require a cane or hiking stick for some people and you could...More

We went in the winter and it was a very peaceful walk. It wasn't too busy, but if it were there is a nice parking lot. There are also bathrooms just in case you forgot to go before you left home. The walking isn't anything...More
