What an exceptional place to visit. Was a little on the cool side that day, but had fun just the same. Couple of the normal shows weren't available due to the time of year, but are well worth seeing when they are open. This a a great way to spend time with the kids or grandkids, and a great learning... More

One of the best zoos in the country. It rivals many and is as good as many. Spend the day or a few hours. Great penguin exhibit. Giraffes are awesome. so many other animals.

Still one of the top zoos in America. Great animal settings. Good species variety. Nice setting. The mini-train is a must do for kids.

Went to the zoo for the melanoma walk with the family. Awesome as always. Lots of animals to see. Cool exhibits. They are building some bigger new exhibits. The animals need more space to move that's for sure. I fed the family of 4 for $25 in the main restaurant. The food prices are not too bad but would bring... More

There are great animals, but be prepared to walk. The zoo is very spread out! It is also a bit costly for a family, but there is a lot to see!

I have been to zoos all around the country and this is certainly one of the best! It is not the largest. Rather, it has just about every animal you would want to see, and it manageable to do in a day without killing yourself. It is also very clean, well laid out, and reasonably priced.

Boyfriend and I went on a Sunday, got there early and beat the crowd getting in. Wasn't really impressed that out-of-towners have to pay more for admission, and parking is a little steep. But the layout is decent (slightly disorganized, and a little dirty) but overall we have a really fun time.

I love the zoo. I don't like that the animals are in small cages but the ropes course is super fun. It is fun to look at all the animals and gives you a workout.

Our family really enjoys this zoo. It is large enough to feel as if you've seen a wide variety of animals, but isn't overwhelming, either. It offers a train ride, "ski-lift" type of ride that gives you a bird's eye view of the animals, along with many other activities like a zip line and ropes course. We spent quite a... More
