This was my first visit here in which I brought my son which was then two. He loved it and I liked all the fish he could see. Probably will bring him back in a couple years because this place has so much to offer learning children. Living up to it's name Discovery World! It makes kids think and get... More

Discovery World is a Hands on Science Museum and Great Lakes Aquarium all in one. Kids will love the hands on activities, and don't miss the full size Great Lakes Sailing Ship hanging in the Aquarium wing, that you can explore. The aquarium is really cool, much larger than you would expect. Well worth the visit.

I brought my 6 year old son to visit. We arrived a bit late and only had 2 1/2 hours to explore which was not enough time there. I would recommend more since there are two sections and so much hands-on things to do. The view were amazing as well. As for the cost? Pricy in my option because parking... More

We brought our young daughter here. We knew they had technology related stuff but we also wanted to see the aquarium. We were very impressed with both. And I gotta say, me and my wife had as much fun as my daughter. We found ample parking in the garage below the museum. Prices were reasonable and such a short elevator... More

We visited with two young children and enjoyed it very much. The science and engineering building is aimed for visitors who are a bit older than our grandsons so we didn't stay long there; that will keep until they are older and can engage more easily with the concepts that are exemplified there. There were a few school groups in... More

Visited with our three boys ages 7-4 and spent almost 5 hours there. So much to do! It's divided into two parts: aquarium/Great Lakes/fish related displays and then science displays. Lots of hands on even for the 4 year old. Highlights: tick-tac-to with a robot, any of the propulsion experiments, nuclear reactor simulator, bed of nails, car and airplane simulator,... More

If your in Milwaukee for a day with a 6 year old this is a fun place to kill a few hours and make them really tired. It's very interactive and has some cool stuff to do. It was $50 to get in (2 adults and 1 child) but we easily spent 3 hours with all the interactions and whatnot.... More

This place is really fun. Great for family's. Younger kids really enjoy as do the older ones like mine. Real nice when the weather is nice outside and you can go enjoy the lake and walk over to the art museum also or thru the park. Come and make a day of it and you will not regret.

I went there on a free day. Otherwise $18.00 per. Kids were everywhere.Bad move on my part. But I've been going for walks around there all summer long. Not bad then. Most of the stuff in there is suited for kids 8-16. Not my cup of tea but nice for a raining afternoon. And it"s right on the lake. Check... More
