Had to find this statue and take picture with it. The Fonz was a part of my childhood. The placement of the statue along the river walk makes it that much better. The only sad part was the disrepair of the building next to it. Very disheartening to see such an American Icon next to an old closed up Asian Restaurant. They could at least frost over the windows or something.

Walked by at 10:10 AM Sept 19, quite Sunday Morning. There were tour groups there and what an embarrassment. There was garbage, pillows, blankets around the Fonzie statue. How ugly and disrespectful! These people are going to tell their friends what a disaster it was does not make this icon of Milwaukee good. What if Henry Winkler came and saw saw all this garbage around his statue. Another embarrassment to Milwaukee as the city is not respectful to someone they want to honor. As a Milwaukeean, I would keep people away from this atrocity.

Not a lot to say regarding this fairly decent portrayal of Henry Winkler as the Fonz. Walking along the River Walk is nice. People seem to enjoy taking pictures with the Fonz, but I am traveling solo, and there was nobody around, and didn’t feel like doing a selfie. If you do the river walk you will walk by the funds, which you will not miss.

As advertised, it’s a bronze statue of the Fonz. Nice photo opportunity, I suppose. If you are out strolling the River Walk and stumble upon it, take a look. I wouldn’t go out of my way to see it.

When in Milwaukee - one must visit the Bronze Fonz.

I grew up watching that show and Arthur Fonzarelli.

The Laverne and Shirley Tower is nearby too.

They could have picked a much better spot downtown to highlight this great character.

Limited parking in this area.

Average stay is about a minute… wait for your turn a a picture then move on. It is a nice spot in the river so the pictures are pretty good. Had to explain to my children who The Fonz is but that’s okay. Easy access from street.

What can you say, if you are a fan of Happy Days, pop culture or Henry Winkler like I am you will think this is great. If not, probably only worth a glance. We took pictures then sat and watched the river activities and had a relaxing few minutes. We were only in Milwaukee for a day but this was our can’t miss.

For me, this was the most interesting part of the Riverwalk. A fun part of my childhood, though I was a little disappointed to read that the statue is life-size. The Fonz seemed to much bigger when we were kids! Definitely a fun photo op in Milwaukee.

An American Icon on display in Milwaukee ... on the Riverside walk you shall find the statue of the "Fonz" ... character from the series Happy Days that was running on TV in the 1970's ... So , if you are a fan , or not you can stop for a few pics that's for sure.
It is the creation of Gerald P. Sawyer and was commissioned in 2008.
And is still standing in 2022 ...

The Milwaukee Riverwalk is very nice. I enjoyed it more than the San Antonio Riverwalk, but it's cooler and not as crowded.

We didn't plan on going to see the Bronze Fonz, but it was close so we made a stop. It's neat to get a picture of Fonzi from Happy Days.

It is true most kids won't recognize Fonzi, but that doesn't matter. He is still a cool guy.

I gave the attraction a 4 mainly because of the Riverwalk. You only need to spend a few minutes here to get a quick photo.
