I toured this historic site during the Christmas season which was wonderful because the mansion was decorated with beautiful Christmas trees in every room. Interesting place to visit. Provided a look into the retirement home of Mr, & Mr. Pabst.

This home is a very nice restoration and then the Christmas decorations took it over the top for us. We loved it. The tour is self guided with people in the home to answer questions. Some of the wood furnishings were just fabulous.

This was highly ranked in attractions for Milwaukee and was an enjoyable hour or so. We had a very good tour guide ( small group of six) who was able to share insights of the Pabst Family's past and interesting history.

The design and craftsmanship in this turn of the century mansion are awe inspiring. It was the first joint project of Milwaukee architects George Bowman Ferry and Alfred Clas who went on to design Milwaukee's Central Library, St. John's Cathedral and the Tripoli Shrine Center,...More
