Featuring 37 rooms, 12 baths and 14 fireplaces, sea captain and beer baron Captain Frederick Pabst's beautiful home was built in the Flemish Renaissance style on Milwaukee's historic Grand Avenue. During docent-led tours visitors will see the first through third floors and learn about the Pabst Mansion and family.

This was highly ranked in attractions for Milwaukee and was an enjoyable hour or so. We had a very good tour guide ( small group of six) who was able to share insights of the Pabst Family's past and interesting history.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Pabst Museum. The docents were very willing to share their knowledge of the family and their home. It was a very interesting historical highlight of our trip.

Thanks for the nice review, I never counted all the rooms and you do see about 20, but the 66 might be high for the basement, attic and staff area. Maybe I should count them myself sometime? The 20 rooms you saw are the rooms...More

We enjoyed this on a rainy day, was a very interesting peek into Milwaukee's history. The docents knew how to keep you moving so it didn't become boring.
