Most people have heard of the RiverWalk in San Antonio, but Milwaukee has a great one as well. Built in the 1990s to revitalize the downtown area, the RiverWalk links countless bars, restaurants, breweries and activities located along the Milwaukee River. If you are going to explore downtown, this is a great place to start. Park the car, find the... More

My family and I enjoyed the beauty of the riverwalk and looking at all the art along the walk. Our favorite is the Bronze Fonz.

I enjoyed the RiverWalk on a beautiful Nov day. Easy access from Public Market to work off a bit of your meal.

this reminds me of the highline in NYC in that it's a place to enjoy on a sunny day, and watch the people and world go by. And, like the highline, it's not so exciting on a colder day. So, go when there are going to be the riverside bars open, and people sitting along the water. Otherwise, on a... More

We had a hotel on the River so we took advantage of the Walk twice. It's a beautiful walk, with so much to see and experience. The river is beautiful. There were some stairs(not sure if the elevators worked so I just huffed it up/down each stair. But well worth it.

Interesting walk, and disabled friendly. Met the Fonz along the way. Interesting buildings and information boards along the way. Easy to cross the river at various points

The riverwalk was a great way to start off my visit to Milwaukee. I was able to see beautiful buildings as I strolled among the water. Hit up the Fonz statue for a photo :) So many spots to stop and enjoy.

A good spot for a walk with a view. We were there in the late fall so most of the outdoor dining venues were not open but still a good walk.

I only walked a few blocks of riverwalk since it was cold. But this is very charming, and similar to the riverwalk in Chicago. The blocks between Wisconsin and the Historic Third Ward were nice, and more interesting than walking on Water Street!
