I've been going to this theater for over 40 years since I was a kid. It hasn't changed much as far as Decour and they could use more women's bathrooms. But they bring good shows at reasonable prices to Mill walkie I like to pay a little bit more to be closer to the stage. Seeing the actors up close... More

I am from Chicago, but have seen several shows here. It is a beautiful theater and the productions are always excellent.

This may be the last year to hear the Milwaukee Symphony in their longtime home, the Marcus Center, but that's probably a good thing. The lobby is woefully small and outdated, with long lines to use the insufficient restrooms. The acoustics here have never been good for orchestra concerts, with a muddy sound that makes the violins sound muffled.

Normally I attend matinees on weekends at the PAC but it was not possible this trip as the only matinees were the weekend after I left. Attended the 730pm show the first day of the run. Was extremely disappointed that attendees are allowed to bring alcoholic beverages into the theatre. The people sitting to the left of me smelled like... More

Not only is Milwaukee, WI a beautiful city on a Great Lake, the downtown area has much to offer! This afternoon we went to the Marcus Center with friends to see "The Book of Mormon". We had read the reviews so were prepared to be offended. ;) Although it was somewhat indiscreet, it was not as offensive as it was... More

Fast, upbeat, funny, dazzling but hard to catch all the words and innuendos. I had never seen the play. People talked about it a lot so I wanted to know what it was all about. The theater itself was quite impressive. Lovely architecture, good view to the stage and comfortable seats. Only problem is very, very long rows, i.e. from... More

I attended the Milwaukee Fringe Festival in the two theaters headquartered at Marcus. It's a lovely venue, accessible with food and two bars. It overlooks the river and Pere Marquette Park so had lovely outdoor activities as well. i'd love to come back for future events. Parking is easy in the ramp across State Street or on the street (free... More

We happened to be staying at the hotel next door for a college tour so we decided at the last minute to go to a performance of Kinky Boots! The venue was wonderful. We were in the "cheap seats" for $29 but still had a pretty good view and could hear everything just fine.

My wife was quite excited when she heard about the Milwaukee Symphony concert- “Bugs Bunny at the Symphony II” and purchased what she was told were the last 2 tickets for the concert on April 17. The concert itself was wonderful- selections of all the Looney Tunes cartoons we had grown up watching: Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, the... More

I was so impressed with the facilities and ease of parking for The Marcus Center. My husband and I saw "Once" there and it's the only show I've ever been to where I paid $10 for parking and didn't ha r to sprint to the bathroom at intermission. The sound quality and visibility of the show itself wee excellent, and... More
