Bradford Beach is always good for a nice stroll. It has something to look at all year round, and it is a nice few hours to relax and people watch.

We were here on a hot September morning waiting for our lunch spot to open. The beach was clean and not particularly crowded. The water was pretty cold so we didn't do any swimming but it was nice to cool your feet.

We enjoyed a visit to this beach. It's very near the North Point lighthouse. This isn't the prettiest beach we've ever seen, but it's a nice quiet spot to walk and enjoy.

We stopped here while in town for a softball tournament just to put our toes in the water, ice cold water 😀. We had no idea that they were having an air show that day so the beach was a little crowded but still very...More

If you live around Milwaukee you probably take the lakefront for granted. But if your a visitor, you need to go check it out at least once. Lake Michigan was once very polluted however it's getting much better (but I still wouldn't swim in it)....More

Unsafe and dirty. I would never recommend anyone travel to Bradford Beach. The lake is disgusting and I felt unsafe in the environment.

We decided to take a trip to the beach from our own landlocked midwest home. Initially, I wanted to go to the eastern side of Lake Michigan, but there were few hotels and lodging left by the time we made plans. I love Grand Haven,...More

Great spot to get some sun, grab a beer or drink and people watch, tons of beach stuff going on and volleyball courts everywhere. Water doesn't warm up until late July or August. Clean sand too!!

You can picnic so long as you don't bring glass. Parking is free and off street. It stretches down the length of the lake. As far as pool floats, not sure those are a good idea. This water is typically too cold to swim in... More

Dogs are allowed, but on the north end only, really. And they do need to be leashed.
