Brady street is the heart of what used to be referred to as "the lower east side" of Milwaukee. It has cultural significance due to two generations ago, this is the neighborhood where many Sicilian and Polish immigrants made their home. But in the 1960's, it was Milwaukee's gathering place and still is today. A lot has changed, but many... More

We love the Brady Street neighborhood. The eateries, taverns and shops are unique, welcoming and diverse. We found accommodations through Air BnB and stayed in a roomy and clean place on Franklin St. After we parked the car, we just started walking all over the city. Great meals, drinks with good people, sight seeing, exploring.

Brady Street is an experience not to miss. Sort of a Bohemian treasure for the whole family, including pets. In the summer store owners even have containers of water on the sidewalk for dogs. There is also a day set aside of for blessing of the dogs. Festivals galore in the summer. Many restaurants and bars and just a joyous... More

My husband and I went with some friends and had a hard time finding a spot where we could have good communication. Everywhere was loud but the cocktails were great at the bars we stopped out and the nightlife was definetly great!

Take a trip back in time and stroll along Brady Street and soak up the old world charm. Lots of interesting old buildings make it seem more of a small town than part of a large city. Lots of independent shops and restaurants.

I like the street the best n down town Milwaukee. It's very vibrant, has lots of different restaurants and pubs, if you don't find anything suitable here, you'll find it nowhere.

This is the heart of the Eastside of town (Milwaukee). It has a huge number of restaurants, small grocery places, coffee, tea, pharmacy, etc. you should come and experience it for your self.
