Drove 30 minutes to see gingerbread houses which is a posted, advertised event. It was blocked off for a private party. They could have put that on their website. Won’t be making the effort to go there again.

On a day trip to Milwaukee, we went down to the Historic 3rd Ward to explore the area around the public market. This market is much smaller than ours back home, however, it does have it's own distinct charm. There is a varied selection of...More

Nice stop in Milwaukee that has m ist food items you may want. Meats, cheese, bakery items, wine and drinks, sausage....you name it. Coffee shops and seafood. Ate at the Mexican restaurant....it was fantastic. We will be going back.

Impressive to find this place downtown. Very crowded and busy! Nice place to browse for gifts, and small bites to eat!

A short walk from downtown, this is a good place to get a variety of food and souvenirs. On a cold day, it was nice and toasty in there.

Our first stop while visiting MKE and we enjoyed it. We don't have anything like this by us and it was nice to have the ability for 4 people to dine together, yet eat from different places. The highlight of our market lunch was the...More

This place has excellent variety and is stop you should plan on making. Located in an up and coming trendy area of Milwaukee and not too far from City center. There are two floors packed with different vendors so there are plenty of choices. So...More

If you are going to eat at St. Paul's Fish market, walk up to the counter first and get a buzzer. It will probably be a 45 minute wait around lunch time and that will give you plenty of time to check out the market....More

While I wouldn’t plan on a lengthy stop at the public market it js definitely worth checking out. There are dozens of shops, a few restaurants and places to relax and hang out.. originally designed after the Seattle fish market it brings some uniqueness to...More

One hour is fine if you are on a time budget and just want a drink and some food. The food is generally ready pretty quickly and there is plenty of seating outside and upstairs too. However you could also spend a day... More

As the others said mostly food. Wonderful little ethnic eating places, fresh produce, spices, wine, a seafood restaurant that is only open in the evening, t-shirts, wine, etc. The Mexican restaurant served some pretty... More
