We took the ride and it brought memories of traveling on the train to visit with my grandparents. The museum buildings with the refurbished cars is well worth seeing.

Rode the train at the Mid-Continent Railway. It was a very nice time. Great to see vintage transportation at it's best. They are in the process of restoring other trains and cars. It was a nice 2 to three hour getaway from the water parks....More

There is no charge to visit the museum, tour the grounds and view the exhibits. A small number of picnic tables are available. You pay only if you take the train ride which is rather brief. The museum has a large amount of rolling stock...More

Very nice Museum, well run Railroad although kind of short ride. People very informative and knowledgeable. Some really nice rail cars inside of car barns can watch restorations in progress may cars and loco's in various states outdoors.

Top knotch. Train ride was on old restored full size train. Very friendly and informative staff. Museum was also impressive. If you like trains this is the place for you.
