A very educational and interesting tour. There's more stuff in that (albeit large) building than you would expect. Covers a great span of history. Very knowlegeable staff.

Rollo Jameson made a huge collection of the antique objects that interested him. This museum preserves the best of his collection. There are about six well-preserved carriages that had been horse- drawn. They would be stars in any museum. For anyone interested in history and/or antiques - this is a fascinating museum.

There was a lot of artifacts in the museum, to include many horse-drawn wagons and agriculture implements on the walls. The second floor had many different items from every day household items of long ago to doctors equipment and other technologies.

Very interesting and fun view of southwest Wisconsin history. While the mine is closed down for the winter season there are many fascinating displays in the museum from a classic history lover in Mr Jamison.

My wife & I recently toured the Rollo Jamison Museum. This museum is a great tribute to the man who had accumulated these items during his lifetime of collecting! It also combines with mining museum, complete with a trip down the shaft of an old Lead Mine. This was a well laid out museum, complete with a couple player pianos... More

Mr. Jamison worked hard his whole life to gather up things that were good representations of his era. It makes for a full and interesting museum. They have designed it to be somewhat interactive. Our 8 year old loved the two player pianos! Something for all tastes.
