We love this place... we have stayed here several times, the food is great, the staff are wonderful, and whether you are a private retreatant or with a group, you will experience the Spirit here! There is a very nice gym and pool and chapel here.

I've been to this place multiple times because i was either in madrigal or went to go see madrigal. this place has that feeling of just nice and classy. It is used for more than Madrigal I've seen weddings and parties there as well. The whole buliding is beautiful' this is a must see.

I stayed at the Dekoven Center for a retreat. The grounds are peaceful and the gardens right now are lovely. The building date from 1864 - really marvelous. Walk the labyrinth, smell the flowers, listen to the bells, greet the giant old maples. There is a bike path close by - right next to Lake Michigan.

A beautiful retreat or event center. The architecture is intriguing and the interiors are highly functional and comfortable. Plus, the staff are sweet and accomodating. The center is just across the road from Lake Michigan, so there are also lovely areas to walk and view the horizon.

Stop and look at the wonderful buildings and beautiful grounds of the Dekoven Center, by Lake Michigan. There are classes of arts- including Tai Chi classes. Wonderful groups of friendly and inviting people.

This facility could use a good renovation. The grounds are beautiful and the location across the lake is breathtaking. The room that was rented for a gathering was less than ideal and the pool was some major repairs.

The Dekoven buildings and grounds offer a beautiful and tranquil escape from the bustle of life today. You can stay here for one of several retreats offered or book the facilities for your group event. It is also one of the most attractive venues for a wedding. Check it out on line.

The DeKoven Center is a unique architectural campus with historic roots as a college, school, monastery, and conference center. It is one of the more attractive places in Racine and is used for many special events, weddings, conferences and a nice relaxing stroll. The Anglican style chapel is a gem. And the gardens filled with a variety of colorful blooms... More

The buildings (Gothic style) are unique and beautiful inside and out. Saint John's Chapel is a perfect setting for a wedding. My granddaughter got married at The DeKoven Center last week...Memorable! The chapel and the sleeping rooms aren't air-conditioned so that is un-appealing but the setting is so awesome...the lack of AC can be over-looked.
