It was cold and snowy and so we decided on an indoor activity and so we liked the sound of ABOVE & BEYOND CHILDRENS MUSEUM. But "museum" is a misnomer and very misleading.Thankfully we had a 4-year old with us because we discovered that this...More

Be prepared to spend about two hours at this Museum. Great value for money at just $6 per person. Constructed out of an old residential house, there are three floors of fun for kids of all ages plus a large garden area outside. Many hands...More

Tucked inside an older home, the museum is on 3 floors. Great for a rainy day activity. Not that large so pick a day when not crowded. Several interactive exhibits for kids (and adults) to do.

Friendly staff. Older but beautiful building. I learned a lot, and so did my child. Many interactive activities. Some of the displays are in disrepair, but worth the lower cost admission fee.

Great children's museum, my little girl had a blast exploring each floor and each exhibit, and it was pretty inexpensive for a children's museum. First floor and mezzanine: had a lot of mechanical exhibits. My LO really liked the rude Goldberg machine, played that over...More

Had planned on outdoor activities, but weather wasn't cooperative, so stopped at the museum with an 8 yr. old and a 3 yr. old. They loved it! Lots of activities to keep them both entertained for hours, and it's very inexpensive. The weather improved later...More

My 2, 7, and 9 year old all had a great time at the Above and Beyond Children's Museum. We stayed for 1.5 hours, but they would have stayed longer. My older ones especially enjoyed the "glow" writing room and the "contraptions" wall ball maze...More
