We stopped to visit this park on our way home from Duluth, Minnesota. It was so quiet and tranquil. We walked on the trails and admired the beautiful waterfalls. It's so handy off the highway. You only need about an hour or so. There are...More

wasn't sure what to expect since this was a quick stopping point during a road trip. Was pleasantly surprised and stayed here quite longer than planned. Nice place to visit.

We got in late and found a camp spot in the dark. Woke up the next morning and found a very nice campground. Looks like they may have showers in a brand new building, that wasn't open yet. In any case after we packed up...More

What a little gem of beauty. We did a walk through the area with beautiful water scenes and a calming waterfall. Our teens donned their swimsuits and went in the water for a swim and had a blast. They voted that experience as one of...More

Returned to a childhood haunt. I have been here many many times as a child and returned to bring my children here. There are no railings or anything to keep you from falling off a cliff or into a waterfall, so don't bring children here...More

So, reading reviews before booking the camp site. I knew this place would be one of those "you get what you pay for" kind of deals. YES it is affordable, and not too far from Duluth. I did in fact look at the camp grounds,...More

Have been driving past for years and finally stopped. It's a great 1 to 2 hours of exploring. You can wander just about anywhere within reason and got some great pictures. Was very happy I finally stopped.

Plenty of freedom when hiking along the falls. There are places for photo ops or swimming/playing in the creek. We were amazed with how busy this little park was at noon in a weekday, but it's easy to see why.

All depends on the amount of rain recently. When we went there was NO WAY ANYONE could go in the water.
