It is very difficult to write a review for this place. To call it a house is a misnomer- no one would ever live in this place. It is perhaps the work of a madman. The place is dark, dusty and just plain odd. People...More

This is a very unique place to say the least. Built by Alex Jordan in 1960 on top of a huge rock(s). There are many rooms throughout the structure basically built under ground. Decorated with unique items he collected from all over the world. The...More

This is a one of a kind experience. We loved it! My husband felt the tour at the end was a little long. Price was worth it. Each room was unique. The infinity room was amazing. I recommend this to anyone in the area.

Great visit! My daughter loved it! My only complaint is that the actual house needs to be refurbished. The upholstery and carpets need to be replaced. It is starting to look bad in the seating areas of the house. Take the next off season and...More

There is nothing else like this in the world. I loved the dollhouses, the musical rooms, the gardens, and so much more.

...And that makes it worth visiting. All those collections of dolls, dollhouses, circus stuff, musical machines, chandeliers, guns, sea/nautical things and sculpture, the largest carousel in history and the house itself with that infinity room are all very entertaining and interesting to see in one...More

We stayed at the Don Q Inn. Very interesting. Not sure about dogs. I don't think so. They have theme rooms you can rent. More reasonably priced than others in area. Good sized rooms.
