There is lots of walking required as there are so much to see things in this house. We tried only two sections out of three due to time constraints. Interesting to see Alex's vision and there are many collections to see especially the biggest carousel...More

We'd heard about House on the Rock and decided to visit while in the area and thought the 3 hours suggested to see everything was an exaggeration. It's not-it took us 4 hours. Everytime we thought we'd see it all, there was even more! The...More

We had been there a long time ago. We were in the area and decided to have a look. It is indeed musty, dusty, my husbands sinuses immediately acted up, and needs some serious upgrading. A couple of logistic points-continuous uneven and broken surfaces in...More

I'd been here as a child and the place was huge and overwhelming (let's be clear.... it still is), but they've added a visitors center that explains a lot of the history of the venue and it's creator. This lends so much more context to...More

You can see better junk at any flea market. Don’t fall for it. Total rip off! Go to spring green and see the real frank loyd Wright. Send your money to a charity rather than waste it at house on the rock.

At once fascinating, incomprehensible, impressive, and bizarre, this is the absolute pinnacle of what a roadside attraction should be. If you want to visit a historic house or well-curated museum, do not go here! I laughed out loud reading some of the negative reviews -...More
