Whitefish Dunes State Park is sometimes overlooked, as it is on the less traveled side of Door County. Don't miss it...views are gorgeous. It's not to be missed.

This state park on the shoreline of Lake Michigan boasts the largest sand dunes in Wisconsin. The view of this Great Lake is spectacular. It is the largest of the Great Lakes and at this park it is only 124 miles across to lower Michigan.

Beautiful Views. A must stop when in Door County. Off the beaten path but well worth it. Wear your hiking shoes, and be ready to take them off when you get to the beach.

We kayak toured past this park on the cave point tour that Door County Kayak Tours hosts. It is one of the largest beaches in Door County and is quite beautiful.
