Cave Point is a truly beautiful place, where Lake Michigan meets a limestone bluff. During the warm months, the area is somewhat busy with tourists, but for good reason. For me, the true beauty of the park is during the winter. A person has to...More

It's a short little trip and won't take you more than 20 minutes to walk from one side of the county park to the next, but the views you find in between are incredible. No matter the time of the year, this is worth a...More

We visited this park after having hiked in Whitefish Dunes State Park. We each preferred this park and since it was just a day trip from Milwaukee and we spent so long in the State Park (8.00 fee verses FREE for Cave Point) we didn't...More

This is a wonderful, beautiful area. The water is amazing. You'd think you were in the tropics. Parking was fine, no fee for this park. Along the lakeshore it isn't great hiking due to so many tree roots, but worth it. We did hike the...More

I met a couple on bicycle who had ridden to Cave Point. They parked their bikes and walked the rocky trails at water’s edge.
