We went to Cave Point and Whitefish Dunes, and definitely enjoyed Whitefish Dunes a lot more. Cave Point was beautiful, but there were swarms of bugs and not very many trails to walk on. There is a nice, grassy picnic area and clean restrooms. Both...More

The area was very beautiful. We were on a time crunch, so we didn’t get to stay longer. Hope we get back soon to spend more time, great place to relax.

I was impressed by this park and wish that we could have spent more time. We stopped to eat and we walked around. We were so amazed by how pretty it was. The kids loved stepping in the water and playing with the stones.

I have visited Cave Point Park many times. In the summer, you may see kids jumping from the rocks into Lake Michigan. I usually go there exploring along the coastline, seeing how the waves have cut away the rocks below. Every year it is abit different....More

We stopped here twice during our time in Door County with different weather conditions each time. Whether calm or a bit more breezy, the views from the shoreline were incredible.

We stopped here on our drive through door county and had an excellent time walking the trails, having a picnic lunch and checking out the view of the lake.

Easy walk from the parking lot to the rocks, and amazing views. This is a sight everyone should see if coming to Door County

Spend as much time as you like admiring the limestone cliffs along the cedar forest and glorious lake. Don't miss the cairns at the north end of the park. Do wear proper footwear--the ground is uneven.

It is about 15-20' and the waves crash hard against the rocks/shoreline. You get wet from the water spray and waves standing on the top of the rock outcroppings looking towards the lake even with the height.
