Beautiful adventure
Feb. 2020 • Friends
Love this place. It was beautiful and great to swim in. It costs about 50 pesos pr person.
It is also possible to rent little cabins to stay under while you are there and to rent life jacket for the children or those who can’t swim

Wow. Must visit. I did not expect this beauty. We walked for around 30 minutes with a very friendly and helpful local called Emil (look out for him) as it was too muddy to drive a scooter. I don't think we would have managed to go downhill without his help because it was very slippery. I couldn't believe that we had the place all to ourselves. In my opinion, the twin falls are more beautiful than Kawasan.

Instagram-worthy
Oct. 2019
Compared to Ingkumhan and Can-Umantad, this was the most stunning falls for us. From the main road, we rode habal-habal up to the entrance of the falls. The motorbike of the locals can carry up to two, possibly three, passengers. 150pesos per motorbike. Then there is a 10-15 minute trek to the falls. Understandably, there are locals hanging out. The water is beautiful and the bamboo bridge is instagram-worthy.

Secluded Nature

It's best to go there when the weather is good. Rainy days are not advisable since there are areas that can be quite slippery. Caution is advised. Other than this, if you are a true nature-lover, a visit here will be enjoyed.

A mini adventure but well worth the visit

With the help of a local guide we slipped and slid on scooters to the top of the falls, paid the local community treasurer 20php each and decended the 100+ steps to the falls.
As a less than fit, 50-something mum I found the downhill a bit slippery but it had handrails and we were there in the wet season so don’t let it put you off.
The falls are amazing. Beautiful. A really special spot and the locals are soooo pleased to have visitors.
Back up the steps to a coconut to drink and a laugh with the ladies at the top.
My tips- do take a guide, they really look after you and have no other income. It’s a community run operation so everything you spend goes to support the local village.
Wear sensible shoes - I had reasonable sandals and still found it a bit slippery but never dangerous. The teenagers had sneakers.
Do swim, don’t miss out on the most amazing experience of swimming under a waterfall in your own ‘insta-worthy’ forest clearing.

Worth of detour

Around 30 KM from Tagbilaran, not difficult to find. When coming from Tagbilaran, take left before the church at the beginning of Dimaio town and then keep going strait on, party on a new road, some parts still under the reconstruction. The fall is well sign posted. You park motor bike and pay petty fee and go down for around 300 meters to reach the water falls, there are some open cabins/huts where you can get change. Water clear and refreshing. On my date of visit it was quite busy, with locals cheeky boys. The jumped from really high points, do not try it, the for adults the water is not deep enough. But you can try rope swing. To climb the water fall is not easy, it is quite slippery. But thanks to the local boys I ad fun. On the way back to Dimaio town I saw quite nice rice fields.

Definitely worth to visit

It was on our list for the Bohol stay. So we get there with the scooter from our hotel in Alona Beach. The ride was 1 hour and 30 minutes but it definitely worth it.
We used Google Maps which took us very close to the location. After that the locals in the village just guided us to the falls.
We payed 20 php per person.
When we arrived there war there other 5-6 tourists which leaved, after that the all place was just for the two of us, witch was amazing.

Beautiful. 2 incredible waterfalls next to each other. Well worth the slightly complex route there!

If you have an afternoon i would strongly recommend visiting here and the nearby Ingkumhan falls. The route there is not clear cut, i recommend Google maps OR Maps.me for a predownloaded map, 20 pesos entrance fee and a short 10-15minute walk to get to the falls. Be careful on the bamboo bridge and the rocks can get slippy but the falls are beautiful and the water refreshing. If your feeling brave there is a hidden cave under the left waterfall about 1/3 of the way down that you can walk up the rocks (more grip than you might think) to get into, we were not brave enough to do but the locals made it look very easy. There is a hidden cave halfway up the steep steps that you need to take to get there and back also. If there are any locals about ask. We had a pair of cheeky local kids desperate to show us their secret den!

Amazing private waterfalls

This is well worth the effort to get to, we arrived by scooter passed several villages and paid the fee to continue on the road to the falls. I'm sorry I can't remember the cost but it was not very much. Be prepared to do hiking, do not wear sandals or bring them with you in a bag, the steps and rocks are steep and families with little ones need to be careful. Once you are down to the falls you can put on your sandals because you will get wet.
When we arrived there was only one other couple at the falls- it was like our own private waterfall : ) Its very beautiful and picturesque, you can walk across a bamboo bridge (not so safe, so just be careful when walking) to the other side.
Definetly use a little navigation to get to the location because it is kinda tricky, other people have mentioned using google maps and that worked for us. Do not miss this opportunity if you are in the area you will not be disappointed.

Twin Falls

The road to the Pahangog (Dimiao) Twin Falls is very challenging. It's very bumpy, steep and slippery. But once you'll arrive to your destination, you will definitely say that it is all worth it.
The falls looks like the ones in the postcards. It's very beautiful!
