Great collection of art worth stopping by to see. Featured artists displaying their art. The entrance fee is $5.00. There is also a discovery area that I didn't have time to see but I bet it's fun for the kids!

The Nic does a great job of finding exhibitors and sharing commentary about the different works of art. The museum is kid-friendly and routinely exhibits high school art work as well as professional work. On Wednesday evenings in the summer there is free music outside...More

I'd have to say they had an overabundance of "modern" art. Of course art is completely subjective but a lot of that type of thing doesn't pique my interest. They did have some pieces that were fantastic so it's definitely worth paying a visit.

It was great to see lithographs by Picasso & Matisse in their European Masters room. Lots of regional and nationally-known artists, and their major exhibit space is enormous! Great curator. Nice lobby and shop.

A very nice place to just relax and look at all of the art. They even have a section for children to keep them busy and try making something fun.

This place has an excellent curator who is also a fine artist. They have lots of western based art and also contemporary displays. Allow 1 to 2 hours.

The "NIC" is always good value. Almost always free and displays are refreshed in a timely manner. A nice attraction for downtown activities.

They call it "The Nic." Modern and nicely done. On the day I visited, two distinguished artists were featured. For a $5 fee, this museum/gallery (The Nic) is well worth it. Nice gift store.
